How is Perennial Rhinitis diagnosed?
Included in the diagnosis of a patient is the allergy history. This will help the doctors determine the root cause of the problem. Perennial Rhinitis can be diagnosed with the use of the following methods:
- Simple rhinoscopy which also refers to a nasal examination using an apparatus.
- Skin scratch test- this is common to all types of allergy testing.
- Radiology, although it will not directly help in diagnosing Perennial Rhinitis but it can determine complications of the disease.
- Blood Test using certain blood specimen to determine the reaction of an allergen.
Using one of the said laboratory methods, the doctors can confirm the real causes of Perennial Rhinitis allergy.
